What syncs is

A library of recorded solutions to coding-interview problems, and a studio for recording your own. Watching is free and needs no account. Recording, posting and talking to Blink need one.

What you may post

One thing: you solving a problem from our list, out loud, with the tests passing in the recording. That is the whole format, and anything else will be removed.

What you post must be yours. Do not post someone else’s recording, someone else’s code you have no right to, a company’s private interview questions, or anything that identifies another person without their say-so. Nothing abusive, and nothing illegal.

Your work stays yours

You own your recordings. Posting one gives us permission to store it and show it on syncs, and nothing more: we will not licence it, sell it, or put it in an advertisement without asking you first. Delete it and that permission ends with it.

Blink

Blink is a language model, and it is wrong sometimes. It is there to help you think, not to be trusted. Check what it tells you, especially before an interview.

Each account gets a daily allowance of the things Blink does, because each one costs us money per use. When it runs out it comes back the next day. If everyone together reaches a ceiling, Blink rests for the day for everybody. We can change these numbers, and will say so when we do.

Running code

Code from a sync runs inside your own browser, walled off with no access to the site, your account, or the network. We do not promise it is perfectly safe, because nothing is. Do not run code you would not run on your own machine.

What we can do

We can remove a sync that breaks the rules above, and close an account that keeps breaking them. We will tell you why. We can change or stop any part of syncs; if we stop something you rely on, you will hear it from us before it happens, not after.

What we do not promise

syncs is new and it is small. It will have bugs, it will go down, and a recording could be lost. Keep anything you cannot lose somewhere else as well.

We provide it as it is, with no warranty. We are not liable for anything beyond what you have paid us, which today is nothing. Nothing here takes away a right you have by law where you live.

Leaving

Stop whenever you like. To have everything deleted, email an address we are setting up — ask in the meantime through the sign-in page and we will do it, and tell you when it is done.

Changes

These terms change as the product does. The date at the top says when it last happened. A change that affects what you may post or what we may do is announced before it takes effect.
